Vintage 1950’s fabulous 2pc suit. Comprising of a jacket and skirt set. Fabulous use of this beautiful and vibrant border print with a Navy background colour. Styled specifically for Prologue dresses label, alongside a smaller one.  
Good strong sharp collar,  almost spear point, covered buttons and little ties to the 3/4 sleeve cuffs.  The jacket has nipped in darts for that all important silhouette of the 40’s / early 50’s. It is so versatile, can be worn buttoned up for a more formal occasion or top button can be undone and even all buttons left undone and wear over a blouse for a more casual style, pair with capri pants. 
The skirt is heavily pleated with 3 in 1 pleat work. Lots of fabric. Good deep waistband, nylon zip and hook n eye fastening. The colours are still so vibrant and happy.  You could pick any colour combination for accessories to match this set perfectly. 
A truly unique piece worn as a suit or equally good as separates.

 Good Vintage Condition - Flaws to note : Underarm inserts have been added at some point, alongside letting bust darts out to accommodate fuller figure. These are cleverly disguised amongst the pattern. Slight fade to each sleeve along the seam, again this certainly doesn’t detract. Some staining to inside collar but not seen when worn.  Sounds a lot but minor and to be fair a solid piece with lots of good times ahead.
