QuickBayt Spray is a water dispersible sugar based fly bait used for the control of house flies. Quickbayt Spray contains the powerful neonicotinoid insecticide, Imidacloprid. Imidacloprid is an insect neurotoxin that effectively kills the adult house fly (Musca domestica) and the lesser housefly (Fannia canicularis), including organophosphate resistant strains.

QuickBayt Spray is a water dispersible sugar based fly bait used for the control of house flies. Quickbayt Spray contains the powerful neonicotinoid insecticide, Imidacloprid. Imidacloprid is an insect neurotoxin that effectively kills the adult house fly (Musca domestica) and the lesser housefly (Fannia canicularis), including organophosphate resistant strains. Quickbayt Spray also contains a unique attractant, the housefly sex pheromone, which lures the flies away from nuisance areas and attracts them to the bait. Quickbayt is easy to apply - simply mix with water and spray onto surfaces. There's no need to treat an entire area as the fly pheromone will attract the flies to where it has been sprayed. Once flies land on the treated surface, they die quickly. It's ideal for use around livestock production areas, as well as commercial, industrial and domestic areas to create a fly-free zone.

Restraints: Do not spray directly on animals, feed or drinking supplies or on milking equipment. Do not apply in a manner which may cause contamination of animal feed. Do not apply spray treatment outdoors if rain is expected within 48 hours. Do not apply onto material which birds are likely to feed on directly (i.e. edible refuse).

Mixing Rate:

Spray: Mix 250 g of QuickBayt Spray with 2L of water and apply as a course spray to areas where flies rest. Maintain agitation of suspension during application to ensure thorough mixing. Apply 2L mixed bait per 100m2 floor area (spray).

Paint: Mix 250 g of QuickBayt Spray with 200mL of water. The mix can be applied with a brush to spots where flies rest (e.g. walls, joists, window ledges, stable fixtures) or painted onto pieces of timber, sheets of cardboard or fabric which are hung in areas frequented by flies. Apply 200mL mixed bait per 100m2 floor area (paint).

Note on Application: Avoid applying this product to dusty/dirty surfaces. If the treated area becomes covered by dust/dirt, the product can be reactivated by gently spraying water mist on the treated surfaces. Do not store diluted insecticide. Prepare a fresh solution as necessary. Do not spray the moving parts of any machinery, electric motors or switchgear with the water-based product.

Re-baiting: Re-apply bait when flies are no longer visibly affected in areas where the product has been applied (usually after about 4 to 6 weeks).  For season-long control, monthly applications may be required, depending on the situation and duration of the fly season.
