Mental Health First Aid Refresher – Online (Instructor-led)

This half-day MHFA England accredited refresher is for Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAiders®) who have held their certification for three years or more. It renews your skills, updates your knowledge of mental health support, and gives you a chance to practise applying the MHFA action plan.

Delivered live online via Microsoft Teams.

• MHFAiders® whose certification is due for renewal (recommended every three years)
• Anyone wishing to keep their Mental Health First Aid skills and knowledge up to date

Course Content

• Renewing MHFAider® skills and knowledge of mental health support
• Practising the Mental Health First Aid action plan
• Updates on mental health support resources and signposting

Course Duration

This is a half-day course, running 09:00 to 13:00.

Assessment

Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities. There is no formal exam.

Certification

On completion, delegates are recertified as MHFAiders® for a further three years and are invited to join the Association of Mental Health First Aiders, with access to the MHFAider Support App®, the MHFA England Online Learning Hub, quarterly webinars, and monthly newsletters.
