Death’s Kingdom is a deeply introspective journey that connects people with their subconscious nature. The themes of the music and artwork are dark and disturbing. A catalyst with the darker elements of the human psyche - to acknowledge our propensity for destruction, but to come to terms with living with that reality in a meaningful and positive way. Mental illness (in particular, psychosis and schizophrenia) is a large subject in the music and artwork. 

The work came together at an off-grid studio a few hours out of Melbourne with producer Nikita Miltiadou (Tash Sultana, Client Liaison, Crooked Colours) and involved experimentation with trumpets, violin, didgeridoo and glass bottle percussion. The result is a dense transcendental and ritualistic experience of interconnected moments where central themes pop out and create moments of revelation.
