Oregano is the most widespread species of the Origanumgenus.
The main active ingredient of oregano is essential oil, and depending on the place of origin, time of harvest, and genetic factors, it may have a different chemical composition.

Essential oil contains dozens of active substances, several of which give it unique properties and these are considered to be the main active substances. This leads to different chemotype variations of oil from wild oregano depending on what the main active ingredient is (carvacrol, sabinene, linalool, p-cymene, thymol, etc.) with different physicochemical parameters and hence different properties.

The most thoroughly studied variant of oil is the carvacrol chemotype (high content of carvacrol, low content of thymol) derived from the mountainous regions of the Mediterranean. The effectiveness and properties of this oil result mainly from the presence of carvacrol and thymol in appropriate proportions.

It’s unique features include:

• High concentration of natural carvacrol (80%) and low concentration of thymol (<2%).
• It is a 100% essential oil in its pure form without the addition of olive oil
• Remember to dilute in olive oil before use!
• This oil is obtained through distillation with steam without the use of chemicals
• It comes from the distant corners of the mountainous Mediterranean coasts, from hand-harvested, wild growing herbs. It is not subjected to chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides or fungicides, which contaminate conventional oregano crops
• The oil is obtained only from the genuine Origanum vulgarespecies, the carvacrol chemotype.

Ingredients: 100% oil from wild oregano (Origanum vulgare).

How to use: 1 drop 2 times a day – diluted in oil or juice.
Remember to dilute if it is to be applied onto the skin.

The daily portion (2 drops) contains 60 mg of wild oregano oil, including 48 mg of carvacrol.

Dietary supplement cannot be used as a substitute for a balanced diet.
