Tomoe Ayato New Album "Hana Uta" The coronavirus pandemic that followed her own health problems forced Tomoe Ayato to suspend her activities, and she and her son had to live an extended period of daily life together. During that time, she was able to focus on household chores that she had been doing simultaneously with her singing career, such as preparing three meals, washing and cleaning, etc.; she had conflicts with her son; and the piano, which was bought for the first time by her parents after being kept by an acquaintance for a long time, came home to her. Then came the death of my beloved mother. Music was a part of such a life. The piano pieces I learned from the sisters when I was a child, the joruri (traditional Japanese puppet theater) that my mother took me to, and the movie music that my father explained to me. Of course, there was also jazz, pop, soul, and rock music. I made this album from a repertoire of songs that I used to hum on a daily basis, stream on YouTube, or play for my mother when she came home. The title "Hana Uta" means "a song I always hum casually," but it also means "flower" or "flower" that adds color to my life. I also took on the challenge of writing autobiographical liner notes. I wanted to stop, look back, think, and look forward. I took the pandemic in a positive light and enjoyed the unfamiliarity of the creative process."
