AYADO CHIE
Description:
We want to cherish the ordinary everyday life. For those of you who do. Tomoe Ayato New Album "Hana Uta" The coronavirus pandemic that followed her own health problems forced Tomoe Ayato to suspend her activities, and she and her son had to live an extended period of daily life together. During that time, she was able to focus on household chores that she had been doing simultaneously with her singing career, such as preparing three meals, washing and cleaning, etc.; she had conflicts with her son; and the piano, which was bought for the first time by her parents after being kept by an acquaintance for a long time, came home to her. Then came the death of my beloved mother. Music was a part of such a life. The piano pieces I learned from the sisters when I was a child, the joruri (traditional Japanese puppet theater) that my mother took me to, and the movie music that my father explained to me. Of course, there was also jazz, pop, soul, and rock music. I made this album from a repertoire of songs that I used to hum on a daily basis, stream on YouTube, or play for my mother when she came home. The title "Hana Uta" means "a song I always hum casually," but it also means "flower" or "flower" that adds color to my life. I also took on the challenge of writing autobiographical liner notes. I wanted to stop, look back, think, and look forward. I took the pandemic in a positive light and enjoyed the unfamiliarity of the creative process." We also provided commentary on the songs "Ayato-style. The result is the album "Hana Uta".This is the first newly recorded studio work in five years, since the 2017 release of DO JAZZ Gokko. The album opens with "I Dreamed a Dream," a song from the musical Les Miserables. Backed by the organ of master musician Jun Miyagawa, the album brings out a new interpretation of this song. Frank Sinatra's signature song "That's Life," which begins with an icy fill by first-time drummer Yuichi Tokashiki, is a giggly, powerful propulsion, and Alicia Keys' "If I Ain't Got You" (which she says left a strong impression on her performance at Apple Music Festival 2016) is played and soulful. which she says left a strong impression on her performance at Apple Music Festival 2016, is played and sung soulfully. The song "Heritage" is the "core" of the album. This song about family ties, written by Duke Ellington, is about Ayato's feelings for her family after the death of her mother. It is a song that you should definitely listen to while reading the liner notes written by Ayato himself.Other songs included "What's Goin On" by Marvin Gaye, which I wanted to sing again in this time and age; "Let Me Try Again," which I superimposed on my own restart; "Billie's Bounce," in which I played my signature scat lightly; "I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know," a blues rock song with distorted guitar and heavy beat; and "His Eye Is On The Sparrow," a gospel song that I performed on TV when I appeared on "Tetsuro's Room". I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know," a blues rock song with distorted guitar and heavy beat, and "His Eye Is On The Sparrow," a gospel song performed on TV's "Tetsuko's Room" (included only on the limited first edition CD). Jazz, Blues, Gospel, Soul, and Pops, with a band, storytelling, duo with guitar and organ, and more. Please enjoy "Hana Uta", a milestone album by Chie Ayato at the age of 65, along with 38 pages of liner notes!
